Turbo Rebuilding

We rebuild almost all makes and models of turbos for auto, light truck, small industrial, and agricultural applications. The price for a standard rebuild starts at $350 (see additional information below). A standard rebuild is a rebuild in which there are no internal hard parts (compressor wheel, turbine shaft/wheel, bearing housing) that need repair or replacement, and there is not any extra cleaning or preparation required . A standard rebuild includes a complete balance, complete rebuild kit with new thrust parts (where applicable), and thorough part cleaning. Your turbo will look like new when you receive it back from us.

The first step in the rebuild process is a full inspection. If any of the hard parts are found to be damaged at this point, we would contact you and give you a full quote for repairing or replacing the parts. There is no upfront payment or deposit required, and you are not obligated to complete the rebuild after you have received a quote (if the rebuild will be much more extensive, or costly, than what you had planned, for example). There will be an inspection fee of $75 if you do not proceed with any work, there is no inspection fee if you go ahead with the rebuild.

We also offer high-performance/heavy duty rebuilds for most turbo makes/models. The price for a high-performance/heavy duty rebuild starts at $450. The difference between a standard rebuild and a high-performance rebuild, is that a high-performance rebuild includes upgrades to any applicable high-performance parts. It also includes a full balance, complete rebuild kit, and thorough cleaning just as a standard rebuild does. High-performance rebuilds include a stepped-gap piston ring instead of the standard piston ring (if your turbo model has this option), as well as a heavy duty steel 360° thrust bearing instead of the 270° bronze thrust bearing. These parts are well worth the additional rebuild expense; they add durability and longevity to the turbo. We recommend a high-performance rebuild for anyone who pushes their turbo to its limits, uses extremely high boost, or someone who would just like knowing they have the highest quality, most durable parts available installed in their turbo.

*Standard and high-performance rebuild prices vary according to different turbo models. Any extra work, disassembly, cleaning, and/or other preparation that is required will be quoted in the inspection report to each customer.*
