“I gotta hand it to you guys, the kit was great…The rebuild which I did not take lightly indeed did cure my smoky exhaust. The process took about 4 hours using the solvent tank or blasting media where appropriate. I was only a little worried about the fact that it may need balancing after doing the rebuild. Marking relationships of parts did do the trick. Well in the end I have no problem with the turbo now which spins significantly more freely by hand. Oil deposits were slowing it down. Thanks for proving such an impossible to locate product and fast too! You have made my 2 weeks away from Iraq that much more enjoyable!” John C.

“A big ‘Thank you’ is in order. I drove from SE Kansas to your shop in Arkansas to personally deliver my Toyota CT26 turbo w/133K miles on it for rebuild. What I had shipped back to me 2-weeks later was such a surprise…It was so surgically clean, it looked better than new. I knew what I had taken down to you, and I had a hard time accepting that this could possibly be the same piece of equipment. My mechanic was impressed at the work and took your biz card for his future reference. Expect more biz from his direction.

“Turns out you were correct, the oil problem was not due to the turbo. I had installed the fitting from the turbo to the oil return line 180 degrees out of line, i.e. I had flopped the fitting. This made about a 5 degree difference in the drop of the oil return line, about 1/4 inch. I had to make another return line to prevent the original one from kinking when installed, but that seemed to do it. Sorry for all the hassle.” Greg

“Nearly a year ago I stumbled across your eBay store and bought a T3 rebuild kit for my Volvo. I inadvertently double tapped and bought two kits. As I had a spare T3, I figured to rebuild it ahead of time and have it ready for when I switched manifolds. I had no idea what to expect when I opened up a turbo for the first time but your kit and instructions made it a breeze! I could have easily done the rebuild in an afternoon, but I chose to soak everything down overnight in parts cleaner. Went together perfectly and is working like a charm!! Now, I’ll rebuild the one I pulled off!! Thanks so much…I recommend you at every opportunity to fellow Turbobricks, Swedespeed and VolvoSpeed members as well as at VCOA meets. “I have just installed the K04 turbo again and I’m very pleased to tell you it is running perfectly! I found out the source of all my problems was a kink in the oil return line. It was creating back pressure which was forcing the oil back through the turbo and through the seals. Also, a hose line to the wastegate had a tear in it, which caused the jerky hesitation. Anyways, I’m so happy things finally worked themselves out and I wanted to thank you for all your time, effort, and energy that went into helping me solve my problem. It is very hard to find trustworthy mechanics or auto salesmen, and even though I was told by several my turbo was bad, you stuck by it saying it was perfectly fine, thank you. In the end you were right all along. If ever I need performance upgrades, you will be the first I contact. Thanks again Gerry, I’ve already started recommending you guys to my friends who own turbocharged cars.”  Paul
